About Wedge Anchor (Through Bolt)
Wedge anchors (through bolts) give the strongest mechanical fixing in solid concrete. Drill a hole the same size as the anchor, tap it through the part, and tighten the nut: the clip at the bottom wedges against the concrete.
Used for machine bases, pumps, columns, railings and racks. Sizes M8 to M20 in zinc-plated and SS 304.

›Can wedge anchors be used in brick?
No. Wedge anchors need solid concrete. For brick or block use sleeve (Rawal type) anchors or chemical anchors.
›What size hole do I drill?
The same as the anchor diameter: a 10 mm hole for an M10 anchor, drilled a little deeper than the embedment.
