About Self Tapping Screw
Self tapping screws cut their own thread as they are driven into a pre-drilled hole in sheet metal or plastic. Available in pan head and CSK, star drive, in zinc-plated steel and SS 304. For thicker steel without pre-drilling, use self drilling screws.
