About Circlip (Internal, External & E Type)
Circlips are spring steel retaining rings that snap into a groove to hold bearings, gears and pulleys in place.
- External (DIN 471): fit on a shaft
- Internal (DIN 472): fit inside a bore
- E type (DIN 6799): push on sideways, no pliers needed
