About Dowel Pin, Dowel Sleeve & Taper Pin
Dowel pins locate two parts accurately so they always go back in the same position. Ours are hardened and ground. Dowel sleeves (hollow dowels) locate parts with a bolt through the middle, and taper pins give a tight, repeatable fit that can be driven out.
