About MS Hex Bolt
MS hex bolts are the everyday bolt for light and medium duty work. They are made from mild steel to property class 4.6, with a hexagon head for a spanner or socket.
Full thread and half thread
- Full thread (DIN 933): threaded up to the head, for maximum grip length
- Half thread (DIN 931): plain shank under the head, better in shear
